Backcountry summer pack/ fishing trips:
Our backcountry trips into the LoLo National Forest offer some
of the most beautiful mountain scenery in the state. This area
is known as the proposed Great Burn Wilderness area. The area
is inhabited with moose, elk, mule deer, whitetail deer, and black
bear.
The high mountain lakes and streams are thriving with feisty western
slope cutthroat trout. The only access into this area is by horses,
mules or by foot. We offer stream fishing, lake fishing, horseback
riding, and sight seeing from our camps located in the heart of
this pristine wilderness.
These trips are offered from mid June through August and usually
last 3 to 4 days, or longer if you wish. You might consider combining
this backcountry experience with a river float trip.
